HoldTight® 102
HoldTight® 102 is an additive that prevents flash rusting of wet abrasive, water-blasted iron, steel surfaces and of dry-blasted surfaces in a pressurized wash down. It effectively removes all salts, including chlorides, sulfates, phosphates, nitrates, and other contaminants, including oil, grease, and blast residues. It is approved by most major coating suppliers for use with most coatings.
Corr-Ban
The Corr-Ban ACS (Anti-Corrosion Solution) molecular decontamination system is the only surface preparation treatment that eliminates ionic contaminants to below normal detectable levels. These include chlorides, sulfates, sulfides and other ionic and microscopic contaminants. These contaminants both interfere with coating adhesion and perpetuate an osmotic process that eventually causes coatings to fail. Coatings applied over Corr-Ban treated surfaces significantly outlast those applied over substrates prepared according to traditional NACE protocols.
